Are you a first-time parent and not sure what is “normal” newborn or infant behaviour, or not? Do you have a handle on breast/chest feeding, but just want to clarify something? Are you just feeling overwhelmed, unsure or unsupported about something related to your newborn or the postpartum experience in general? Stop those middle of the night Google searches for answers! Speak with a trained postpartum educator who can give you knowledge, guidance, assurance and resources tailored to help you navigate postpartum and parenthood. Note: This is not a service that provides medical or mental health advice. However, resources can be provided for other perinatal professional services. What’s on offer: 40-minute video or audio call We can discuss anything postpartum and infant related, but common topics relate to: infant care, parent coaching, breast/chest feeding, bottle feeding, sleep information (including sleepy cues, wake windows, settling techniques, and safe sleep guidelines), nutrition, and social and emotional support. During the call, you will receive evidence based information and advice, demonstrations, recommendations and resources, where applicable.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that once you have booked a consultation with Kangaroo Care Doula, we have reserved time exclusively for you. We will do our best to be on time for the meeting and expect the same from our clients. We will wait for up to 10 minutes for clients to join the meeting before considering them a no-show and ending the meeting. For any no-show clients, or clients who cancel their appointments within 12 hours before they are scheduled to take place, they will not be eligible for a refund. However, you will have another opportunity to reschedule your appointment.
